The stimulus package announced by the Chinese government in September 2024 has been discussed very tendentiously in the Western press. It is assumed that the measures have the same goals as in the West. In this discussion we discuss how this is wrong and reconstruct the very different principles on which the Chinese economy is built and the very different purposes and methods employed in China to steer it.
